I was in contact with Tom K before I made the purchase. He remembered the helmet and actually still had pictures of it from 05. Unfortunately he couldnt remember if the helmet had any history behind it!

During the time I originally owned and photographed this helmet, I worked non-stop, (literally), hunting down helmets. I wish I could remember where it came from....

Its fine! I've seen your other threads and with all the helmets that you have owned over the years I'm surprised that you remember it!

Either way I am very happy that I found it and that it is now on my shelf!

The whole helmet its different shades of green and yellow/tan. More then likely the colors just mixed together in some spots which made the "odd" colors that you are refering to. Whether done intentionally or in haste who knows!

I can assure you that none of it is Lime Green though!
