Here is the storie. found this helmet once. Showed it to you guys, well lets just say that the remarks were to this one. Last saturday I was at a local marked, meet some guys, starting talking with the about removal of paint. I have never done this before, but now I knew that I had a helmet witch dident cost me much. So I tryed it, now I have been looking at this one for to many hours, but could this be the remains of a single decal luftwaffe helmet? Then I started looking af the inside of the helmet. metal band inside there was a datestamp and some other tekst. It reads, 64 A 56 on the other side, DRP 1940 and something around it, cant realy make it out. On the metal pins that holds the inderliner it reads 80 and 1942.

Yes, this one used to be a Luft helmet, with blue paint, and Luft eagle.

Ok then verry happy to hear that. Just one other think on the "inside" of the leather it reads ( with big letters ) B 5.

Yep I am also very happy about it. Have been looking again On the metal pins that holds the inderliner it reads 8 B and 1942, and not 80. I for one thinks that the value is somewhat better now.

At that price I woould lige to buy all of your helmets. This one is complet with inderliner and all. Here in Denmark for 50 $ you cant even get a red firemans helmet.
