    thoughts on M35 DD re-issue

    Hey folks,
I was wondering what the opinions were on this M35 DD re-issue. Does adler decal look okay?
    Thanks in advance, Lee

Does look a bit goofy...may just be the pic/lighting.

It almost appears to be what has been dubbed the "Beer bottle opener bird" on another forum. Maybe Tom, Cody, Perry et al could shed some light on it for us...

        Lee,

That helmet is now in my collection. It is a WONDERFUL NS66 DD Heer reissue that had the national colors painted over and the bird painted around. While painting around the bird, portions of the decal were painted over, giving it a somewhat odd appearance. I bought it from Bruce at the SOS.

that's the only problem I noticed with grenadier antiques: a lot of items already
sold are not marked as sold for quite a bit making people waste information mails and hopes!
          ciao Mario

One thing that caught my attention was the middle hole in the liner tongues. Notice how most are off center on this one, might be the picture. Tom is it like this in person?

Feldwebl (Glenn) posted a NS a few weeks back with that decal. From the pictures the decal looks fine.

It seems a normal model for a NS

                Perry,

There are two tingues that have that anomilie. Odd, as they are off center. Still, the liner is right!

                Thanks!

Nice purchase Tom. It looks practically unused. Let me know if you ever think you will need to part with it.
