This is one of my purchases from this years SOS. I have been so bombarded by emails and PM's asking when I sell these to give them an opportunity to buy them. Please forgive me, but to to my error, I lost most of these messages.
I promised that I would post items before sale, for the forum to scrutinize.
This is an ET68 double decal that has had the tricolor painted over and the adler painted around. The liner exhibits some interesting anomilies, in that it has an early, single-banded aluminum band (1937 or earlier). This band was period field repaired and the area where the date would be is now gone. Additionally, there is a stamp in the rear of the liner that appears to be partial: "...tor Glog." M. Sch is painted on the rear of the skirt. In the dome, is the letter "G". I would rate the decal at about 85% and the remaining paint at about the same, 85%.
