Decal ?

I believe what you have is a Huber Jordan Decal . It is common to find them on re-issued helmets and I think this combo is totally fine here.

This could be a late quist shell that found a decal after the war.

That decal would typically never be on a factory shipped Quist helmet .

They did use ET decals very sparsely Heer and KM...
