SS Q64 With nice combat wear

    Hi,

I held this one in my hands yesterday and took some quick pics of it...
It's a SD Q shell with really nice looking wear !!! Inner part has same degree of aging, but I don't have a pic of that.

    Enjoy

    Regards,
    Gerd

From what I see it has indeed the texture of a nice original Q decal. Too bad the shield is missing some parts, but a nice helmet though. Any story attached to this helmet?

        All the best,

        Cees

          Hi,

          No story.
I friend of mine bought this one from a collector who was downsizing his collection... He bought it for 400 euro . I great buy IMO

          regards,
          Gerd

Outstanding buy! From what I can see, I agree with Cees that the helmet looks like a nice honest Q.

I also have no idea about the net. My opinion is regarding what is left of the decal on the Q helmet.

Who is Duff Decal?...that's kind of a strange name.

I agree with Perry. Very difficult to judge from the pics I have seen. Too far and a bit blurry. The net is definitively a post war W.German one. It is strange that somebody adorned an original SS helmet with an accessory which is definitively post war.
