Opinions on M16 SD Transitional

I've been offered this M16 single decal transitional helmet, unfortunately I only have these two pictures, but can I have some opinions on the decal please and what would be a fair price if original?? As I don't want to buy a piece of overpriced junk!!
It has a M31 liner which is a little rough but is all there!!

Looks OK to me. Haven't got a clue on the price. What do they want for it?

Oh, yeah I forgot that bit, the price on it is £250 ($470). I'm not sure if that is good or bad......Come on guys a few more opinions please.

If the liner is problem free and in the same conditions as what I see in the pictures it's about what you would expect to pay, maybe a little on the high end.

Better pictures

Here are some better pictures of the helmet which I got today on 7 days approval. I'm pleased with it's exterior appearence, but may have a couple of issues with the inside, see what you guys think?

Is the chinstrap original?

Now this is the one thing that looks a little strange to me, at one spot it looks like the leather is a little larger than the rest on the liner as it appears slightly bunched up, you can see this in the picture, you can see two holes in the leather where pins have been, these do not line up with any holes in the metal band?? is this a factory error, field repair or something more sinister??
