I don't know particulary NSKK decals, but the overall apparence is dodgey, decal itself looks freshly applied on a cleaned shell.

How can you tell if is freshly applied?

It's easy when you know what to look for, here a few things:

1. The letter font is wrong
2. The head is wrong, look at the fake looks like a tiny pigeon..
3. The feather shadows on the wings is wrong.
4. The eagle feet and claws is wrong.
5. The wreath is wrong.

And you will find even more by comparing the real one I post here with the bad one you posted.

Looking at it. I don't know how to explain, but it just don't fit the helmet.

Only one type, and there is some known original hand painted insignias.
