Audi German Factory Helmet?

Does anyone have information on the type of helmet linked above? I recently found one but maroon with the same painted decal on the front "Audi" (helmet was black at one point).

I also realize a lot of the factory helmets were allegedly faked. Just looking for any info? Thanks in advance.
