This strap is 15 mm wide; has 13 holes; the studs and buckle are magnetic; and there are 4 stitches.
From my research here I am inclined to think that the leather chinstrap shown is either made post-war for military helmet use or is an outright reproduction/fake of a wartime helmet strap.
As I plan on selling this item, I wish to know if it is a period original or not. All opinions welcome, please and thank you.
