It could just be the photo, but that decal doesn't have the metalic sheen real SS decals do.

I guess the bad fakes are the ones that have the little disclaimer from the FDA like on a box of cigarettes. "The purchase of this helmet may lead to high blood pressure, premature child-birth, or even stroke."
