    Dd luft helmet - please help with opinion

    Looking at making an offer on this DD Luft.
    It seems to be a nice honest piece but condition is less than desirable.
    Any idea of value in this condition?
    The seller was looking for $700 which I felt was too high.

            In my opinion $400-$500, but I like salty combat helmets. JMO Nice honest example of a combat helmet that didn't sit on a shelf the entire war.
