    Helmet M42 decal identification

    Hi guys just saw this one a few days ago but before putting a price on it i just have to know what could be this painted insignia on it ..
    Period painted insignia or added post war ?
    Of course helmet is original pre 1945
    Any idea about what iy is ?

              Helmet

              It's a Belorussian helmet, white Russian volunteer. The decal does not look right to me but it would need a hands on look and you are able to make a better decision on that as you have it in habd.
              I have seen pics of 2 others and both had factory made decals on the right side, one was George Petersen's and is pictured in Angolia's series, volume 4 regarding foreign volunteers and the other is Brian Bell's, picture attached from his website.
