Sergey, it is great to see that FJ DAK again! If I recall, it was found in a kit bag in South Africa and was only recently offered for sale. I wish I had the $$ for it! Your pictures are very nice and it is hard to forget this helmet. A great example! It is interesting to point out that the lot number is 5052.
Nzef1940, that is a very nice FJ camo as well. It is tough to say what theater of operations it may have been in, but it certainly is a looker. Things that are interesting to point out are that the lot number of your helmet is 5012 and this one also has a cloth-made loop likely used to hang it from a belt or something similar. I also really like the fact that the pull tab on the chinstrap friction buckle is painted the same camo color. Very nice!Last edited by WalterB; 03-28-2016, 10:50 PM.When you go home
