Transitional Helmet Help Needed

Hello everyone. I know nothing about WW1 or transitional helmets and would like to get some help / opinions on this one. Size is ET 64. Model? Original? Possible value? National shield appears to be painted on, period done? Thanks in advance. BDM

Good decal, forget about the tricolor, we'll never know when /how/ why it was done. Is it just me or does some of the black area on the adler look a bit freshened up?
