M42 whit Decal and wire for opinion

Hello , for opinion M 42 helmet whit wire , its not mint a little salty but nice worn combat helmet . Opinion are welcome .

how does the interior look like , wire is an addition so all parts of the helmet should allign themselves with the rest.

Helmet and interior its a little rust i think its from barnfind, but looks like untouched , i have make some new photos .Thanks for reply .

I see nothing to be concerned about, one might possibly take the view that the wire was added later but it matches the rest of the wear on the helmet to my eyes. Perfectly legit lid there.

The wire has certainly been there for a while and it does not appear to be artificially aged. Since it appears to be a non-galvanized wire the aging looks natural. The rust seems to match the rust on other areas of the helmet.

I would give it a pretty good chance of being original, though I always like to handle these to be sure.
