    M35 Heer Normandy Camo

I wanted to post this to strike up a conversation and see what people think..
The story is "Vet picked it up on June 6th, 1944"

A few things caught my eye, does it look like the Heer decal was scraped out to be visible? Also, the light green/bluish paint towards the front of the helmet.. It is a NS62

Pictures will do the rest of talking

looks good to me. Dug decal and the paint I think is house paint from the 1950s

x2 nothing wrong with the camo and the rest was already explained..

Just to add its an M35 re-issue as that decal is a non-factory type that show up on re-issued lids.

Dug decal or just bad paint adherence?

              Decal appears undamaged or rubbed.
