    M40 SS Single Decal

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody could provide their opinions on this decal please?

I've handled the helmet and everything is of the period but any options on the decal would be gratefully received. Unfortunately the pictures were taken without natural light so aren't the best to represent it but across the pictures there's hopefully enough to go on.

    Many thanks,

    Joe

Decal is strategically missing to hide its flaws.

Thanks for the reply. The bottom section of shield? It was something that crossed my mind but in hand the wear looked "natural" on what's a very well worn helmet so seemed consistent to the rest of it.

What is the shell mfr? This ET decal would be only found on an ET M40 and the decal is bad anyway, looks like a semi-relic shell.

Unfortunately it's not possible to determine the maker due to pitting inside.

Thank you all for the input, I was very hopeful of this one as everything seemed consistent.

                      Regards,

                      Joe

It looks so good in hand, no signs of artificial ageing etc.
