Bumping this, my interest is up considering some M42 SS 70s posted. Would be interesting to see how may are really out there. I think this is the only M35 SS DD.

Tim, I can't find the documents you sent me when I bought this, if you have those documents, that may help shed some light on this mysterious helmet.

really nice condition pocher runes...they were clearly clipped...a possible theory is lah..That pocher is sitting on top of an ss et decal set. Unprecedented

Always good talking with you David, am sure I can dig up the background info again on the Veteran who liberated that Lovely Bathtub as I see his Son every now and then. For sure he was in North Africa, specifically Tunisia but the only SS there was a small amount of SD members. He was also in Italy where for sure the LSSAH was present. No doubt in my mind that scalloped Pocher is intentional. No worries my friend, we will get to the bottom of this Great lid and uncover its true origins.
