        Bob,
the underwritten is well known for 1)looking for trouble with mods ,2)smiley abuse and 3)for making crooks' names ;how can we possibly avoid this guy without knowing who this son-of-the-all-regiment is ???

            Auctions are risky at best

            Hi,
I will never buy anything on a auction again, period. I won an auction some time ago on a German sniper rifle. I had only one other experience with auctions before this one. I was new to German snipers at the time and it had a 3 day inspection etc. So not to worry, right!! I spoke to the owner by phone before bidding. He sounded like a good guy and answered my questions. He told me if I didn't like it, send it back and he would refund my money. I had talked to others who have purchased pieces on auctions with no problems. I felt confident. The rifle was a fake. I contacted the owner the same day I recieved it. He said that he spent my money on his wifes doctor bills. He would pay me back as soon as he could. I returned the rifle to the owner so he could sell it. I figured wrongly that if he sold it to the second bidder etc. I would get my money. WRONG!!! He sold the rifle again but kept my money also. I spent two years trying to get my money back with no luck. I have all the documentation anyone would want in regard to this transaction. Proof is not a problem. The auction house was of little help. They just wanted it to go away. They finally took the guy off the auction but he came back under a differant screen name. By the way it was for $4525.00. That money came hard to me and this scumbag is still probably doing the same thing to others. You want to send your hard earned money off into la la land and hope for the best, have at it. I learned my lesson, never again. This kind of thing happens every day on all auctions. If you want more details about this send me a PM.

These type of people prey upon the perception that honesty is a
                virtue to be exploited...
