    normandy camo barn find

    hello folks,
    a verry old men from my town moves t france this year and whas back with new year he brought me a barn find from his old farm that he bought there,
    it is a nice helemt you can see were the decal has been it only has its outside liner wch is stampt correct with size and factory,
    and it is stamped opinions?

                      Sorry but from what I see I don't like it.
                      The paint has suspicious wear and color. Notice how clean the inside is.
                      Also there are several spot's including the inside that have been dug out, both sides looking for a decal and the maker, batch number. A "virgin" barn find wouldn't have that.

                            yea i knowtis that to but i think the finder of the helmet maybe unnazifi it
                            en put it on the attich where my friend found it when he bought the farm
                            the inside is very nice and there is no other paint beneath it so it must be that it whas kept dry in that attick and well preserved

                              But try to imagine, a helmet, 60 years old, with paint that is so not in comparisation qua state the helmet is in. Lying in a barn for 60 years and then on an attic for two days, that doesn't makes any difference...
