Camo M42

Today I picked this m42 from a vet
It's my first camo helmet with this off side decal
It's a normal to see the decal like this that ?

I finally had a chance to take some better pics of the helmet.
I'm hoping someone can comment and help me out with this one. I have 156 hits, but no opinions, anyone see any issues with it? Your help is extremely appreciated.

John, I see no problems with either the camo or the painted name. I can't help with the decal from those photos, but if you post a closeup I am sure others will chime in.

good helmet with period camo paint,abaut the decal ......hmmmmmm ,never seen one put that way.interesting

Camo looks really good and overall everything is in great shape.
That decal, though, does give me pause...
Hoist up some better pics and let's have a better look at her.

Yup. I'd leave it as is.
Doesn't look fishy from your close up shot.
Just a strange placement I guess.
