To my untrained eye, this side looks more promising than the other..

Do those decals try to copy the "Austrian Pattern"??(large swastika shield and 1st pattern rune pseudo Pocher).

        My answer??
        Yes.

I'm sorry but for me isn't original, it's nice done but the party shield is not text book "Austrian".

        Cheers
        Tom

            Cody -

You remind me of a street vender handing out leaflets....

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep my eye out for that book, thanks Cody.

Back to the helmet in question, it's for sale on gunbroker just in case anyone else spots it and is also wondering if it's a good one!

Happy New Year to you all

Just got my copy of the new "SS-Steel" from ole Saint Nick... man is it an eye opener.

Now, you too can know the characteristics of an original CA Pocher runic decal. This book will may possbily save you ten times as much, in the long run, if you are in the market for a double decal SS helmet.

I saw this one a few days ago. It does indeed try to emulate the Austrian pattern variant but is not correct. This is a bad helmet.
