M16 Transitional Army

I dug this out of my boxed up helmets...got it in Germany around 25-30 years ago. It has an embossed liner stamp and is just a nice complete and well marked rig. The "NA1" could be a unit mark for "Nachrichten Abteilung 1" from the 1st Inf. Division.
I'm not familair with the small "K 31" stamp. Perhaps someone would clarify it's meaning. I presume it is a reference to the libner type or year of refurbishment. Both the liner and the strap are marked with the "NA1" and "K31".

it's sporting what looks like a 1931 dated liner and the original M31 chinstrap, very rare

Well, I moved 20 years ago and unfortunately, the new house didn't accommodate all the stuff I've accumulated. So, unfortunately, a lot of the collection is still in boxes. It makes it fun looking for something and discovering things I totally forgot about...like this helmet. Sometimes, it's like Christmas. I had a fixation on transitionals for a while back decades ago and have a few more I should post.

I like the matching liner and chinstrap markings. I was disappointed when I looked at the end of the strap and didn't find the usual date and maker stamp, then noticed them at the bale end.
