just one question,

what happened with the tassel on the back, is not attached to the top of the Fez??? our are they supposed to be so???

Ok i understand, what a great piece, i did try to collect Handscharr items 10 years ago, i did only find one SS solbook, i m really impressed with the Field grey version you have

As far as I know if it was dated in would be on the band, even a date before the formation of a Croat. division as materials pre-dating these divisions were used. Just curious if yours might be dated since it had a black band.
