EDIT, just read it properly, you are not in the UK !
Did you pick it yourself, that has to be the ultimate way of finding these items, I feel they lose some of their appeal once they have been through a few hands and dealers and what not

A very provenance for this ss helmet !
It came directly from a house clearance yesterday and bought by my friend with some others helmets,1 firefighter,one pickelhaube and one M26 Adrian,all in as found condition !...
This ss was never in any collection and my friend is not WW2 collector...
So it will be mine in a few days if we came to a right price and hand inspection...I have no stress with this one ...It is on hold for me sure !!
