M35 Field Overpaint Recent Vet Purchase

Hello everyone. I just wanted to share my latest purchase. An M35 DD Heer field overpaint. This helmet was purchased last weekend directly from the vet who brought it back. The vet said that he served in the 76th division, 34th regiment and picked up the helmet just south of Berlin. Size is SE66 Lot #3341. This is by far the nicest helmet that I have ever owned.
