I picked this up a few weeks ago for what I feel was a great deal, but this is my first helmet so I wanted to get some opinions. It has an original chin strap, the only defect I can see is that it is missing a piece that connects the liner to the outside of the helmet. How much is one in this condition worth roughly? I may sell it in the future and buy a LW helmet.

Interior gives it away,its a Norwegian reissue (liner and interior paint) exterior repainted with paper or copy decals..

There are things i dont understand on some faked helmets; did a blind man put these decals on? Is it so hard to look at a picture on internet?

The fake German decals have been moved forward to cover where the Norwegian decals once sat and then lightly spray painted to blend it all in,hardly worth the effort but i suppose some people only like to do half a job
the shell and liner band are original the rest is post war Norwegian
