I was told this helmet was pulled out of a trunk found in a Milwaukee attic previously owned by a Chinese Immigrant who served in WWII. The manufacturer and size stamp is E.T. 64, and the lot number 2854. It is 100% complete, in pretty good condition, and everything is correctly marked. The liner appears to never have been removed. The Veteran has passed on, and the estate buyer says it is exactly as found in the trunk. I am puzzled by the condition of the paint. I think it may have been cleaned, but am unsure. What say you?
