    Some RAD helmets

    RAD M-42sd. ET64, acquired directly from the veteran's nephew. Reissued from an HR M-42sd by the application of an RAD decal over the Army bird. Chinstrap has been shortened - possibly broken by the vet's nephew during play.

                    Very nice. Hard helmet to find.

                    I have one in my collection that was once whitwashed, although its hard to say if it was whitewashed when it was a Heer helmet or when reissued to the RAD.
                    The veteran thought it was a Polizei helmet.

                        Also for note there's a recent fake RAD decal that is showing up, so be carefull.

                        For example there was no real RAD at the MAX that I saw but I did see this fake.
