there are some green paint under decal

Hi Zts,
I have in hand this helmet and I see under UV and I think this green paint is the old lacque coating which well visible under UV.

2 things about the decal bother me. It looks like it is placed over scratches and missing chunks of paint. Also, the decal looks like it's really wrinkled up, like a bad post war application. If it didn't have the decal, I would see no problem with it.

Agree with above. Post war strache decal application.
Note wearing marks under decal and the mint aluminium tone of the eagle.
Redecaled helmet with an original decal but not period done.

thanks for your comment. Ok Strache decal, but what do you think original application to the helmet? Possible to applicate afterwar?
