Greetings all - I'm being offered the below helmet for sale, and would appreciate your opinions before deciding. These are the photos I have to make the decision on; so, hopefully there are some obvious 'tells' - also posting an M40 LW from same seller. Best.

Could anyone share the visual queues you see to indicate that it's bad? Or point me to reference. I really do appreciate the advice, and would like to be able to help others one day as well. Thanks again everybody.

Just compare it to a known original example. You will see the difference. This particular maker had a couple of types: EF pattern n sometimes an ET pattern. Also, pick yourself a copy of "SS steel". If your into SS helmets, you'll find it indispensable. Good luck.

Just compare it to a known original example. You will see the difference. This particular maker had a couple of types: EF pattern n sometimes an ET pattern. Also, pick yourself a copy of "SS steel". If your into SS helmets, you'll find it indispensable. Good luck.
