M42 ckl ss, opinions please

I offered this helmet to someone the other day,

and he got opinions from a 'helmet expert', saying it's all wrong.
Apperantly the paint is 'too new',
the liner is bad, and so is the chinstrap.

As in my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with this helmet,
I would like to get some more expertised opinions from you guys that actually know what you are talking about
As you can see in the pictures it is quite hard to make out the shell size and lotnr., my apologies for that.

I can't comment on the decal but IMHO with these photos the shell paint looks good to me. The liner looks original and seems to match the helmet wear. You may need to post better pictures of the strap for some others to comment.

For me nothing wrong with it.

It's a ckl64, lotnumber 31..
As expected ET decal.

I don't see anything wrong with the liner and the chinstrap.

Maybe he's trying to pull down the price by making you thinking It's bad????

As I was well aware of... this is not a 70's fake.... as the 'expert' stated.
Guess you can find 'experts' on every corner of the streets these days

The 'expert' must be a real nutter! This one is one you look straight at and within 2 seconds know 'yep it's real'.
