I have nothing against someone collecting restored / refurbished / repro helmets, I used to do so myself. It is when they start passing them off as original / real that's the problem.... JMO, BDM

Don't want to comment the helmet, good for reenactment for the people who do so....
BUT....the description is unbelievable....

I noticed he's in Perth Paul, and I also sent him a message explaining that the helmet was a bad one, he came back to explained why, so I went through the liner to the wire etc, and then explained to him he should join a established Military Forum, I tried to help but I have had no reply from him, and now I've seen your'e post, and mention he is a member here, he must be worried about putting it up for discussion!

Oh well let see if he sees this post.

BUT, rather than make this personal and nasty (which is against the rules anyhow), let us please proceed in the proper manner. If fakes are being sold, post the link in the appropriate section of the forum for a rational discussion.
