M40 camo WSS

Hello all,

Please opinion on this one, what do You think about camo paint?
Unfortunately decal only 20%.
Liner dated 1943 with Rbnr. Named, hardly to read.

I'd say that decal is a fake and has been worked on, look at all the missing paint round the decal area save your money,the leather liner is replaced and not original.
I'll let the more knowledgeable tell you if i'm right or wrong..

The decal is too far gone to tell via these photos, at least for me it is. If it's a real decal, it's possible it has been liberated. I would need this one in hand to be certain. The leather liner is obviously a reproduction. I wouldn't even have it in there.

I would steer well clear of this one. Decal added onto the shell (you can see where) and then scratched away to remove the easy tell tale signs, helmet is bogus from the word go.

Indeed. Liner and decal are bad.
You can see the scratches on it from trying to take it off.
