Combat Vet M35.

I managed to pick up a few German lids last weekend to sell on but when i got home and had a ''GOOD'' look at this one i fell in love with it Its had a few lives, DD Heer, re-issue coat, full whitewash then another last coat of grey with some sand added. The dome stamp is date 1937 as is the early single band liner frame, all pins are tight and of course are the early brass issue, double named just for that extra bonus. Original chinstrap appears to have been shortend.Will have to leave the profit margin and put this baby on my helmet wall. Pete.

Great pot full of history and character. Love the shortened chinstrap, imagine how that long end sticking out would have been such a pain at the front, you see this a bit. Congrats, Bill
