Hi Gents,
Here is my late M35 SE KM that has been finished in M40 spec textured paint and with a single ET style decal from factory. Ken N mentions these in his book and mine is lot number 4831 .
It has clearly been whitewashed during the winter months and then has worn off or been removed. The decal has had some sort of varnish or shellac brushed over at some stage.
Inside it is double named to 'Diekmann' on both the skirt and liner. It also has a little cloth tag very neatly sown in which you quite often see on Km's but I can't decipher it unfortunately.
The liner is either dark from use or has had a light treatment, not certain, and appears to have blood stains on a couple of fingers which has slightly deteriorated the leather in those points.
Interestingly the chinstrap shows quite a bit of whitewash as well.
This one has seen a bit of use and a few seasons to.
Thanks for looking, comments welcome, regards, Bill
