Need Help Heer M35

Friends,

I've just started collecting and came across this M35. As best I can tell it was a czech reissue after the war, note the two holes filled on the inside and front of the helmet.

My question is this: Is it worth keeping as is, or would you restore it?

Any help you can give would be great.

Well it has no collector value ,so if you wanted to restore it to it's former glory as a representation of a German WW2 helmet you could certainly do that . The best advice Zi could give you is save your money no matter how long it takes and buy a decent combat used one.

You could find one with some combat wear and decent decal and liner for 6-8 hundred USD.
