Waffen SS M-42sd EF64

Most of us know the most commonly encountered of EF-produced WSS helmets would be the M-42sd, here's another, The M-42 as manufactured by EF is easily my favorite "raw edge" SS helmet as the unrolled rim juxtaposed with the squarish dome above the break of the ear/neckguard particularly compliments the relatively steep angle of that most attractive EF runic shield. I might be over-thinkin' this deal...

1942-dated linerband, alloy #2451, the usual blah, blah...Kelly included this helmet when he completed Mike Beaver's last work on SS helmets.
