It is an odd bird. Did it get repainted and then sit the war out in a depot or has it been recently buggered?

I am not sure if this is a new (post 1945) repaint. In hand the paint seems okay, rough on the outside and satin on the inside, definitely reissue but no old paint layers to be seen and it does look as if it has been hardly worn which fits the overall state. Notice it once had decals. Need more opinions. Thanks for thoughts so far.

I think the photos are playing a trick on us. Paint could be good. Hard to say from these.

It has a reissue liner so a depot re-spray would be logical.
