    Winter camo

    Hello all,

    Whats Your thoughts?
    Thanks for all comments.

Winter camos are tough to picture accurately. The winter camo in this one looks pretty nice to me; however, the liner looks bad. It looks like the liner is put together and not original to the shell.

Tricky dickey this one. I do like it from this one outside shot, but without more pics of the outside, I'm not buying it nor am I a "believer" just yet.

Winter camo lids are a tough one to make calls on. This one could be good, wear looks honest and maybe a possible decal dig?? A tough call indeed.

I agree with Walter, the snow camo has a chance but the liner has defiantly been replaced..

Would want to see way more photos but looks good so far (aside from aforementioned line replacement).

                  I agree.
This shell has a nice look about it.

Has potential but more pictures would be a great help.

Sorry for my little delay with answering and thanks a lot for all comments. Unfortunately I dont have more pics but the seller also have this one below. In this example the liner is adequate for whole condition. Whats Your feelings?

First helmet. Paint looks good to me.

The second one. Ground dugg for sure. Paint - everything is good.
Pehabs band replaced to restavrate. leather original- retavrated.
May be springs are not original. Very easy to broke them. I met very seldom original springs complete on ground recovered helmets.

May be leather not replaced. But leather launched. Not restavrated. Dryed.
when you find it from good mud or swamp you should put it to acid and return back original brown color and ink stamps when work a lot with diffient oils to keep it soft and not dry.

The shell is absolutelly good to me.

Agree, first helmet has potential on the exterior but the leather does not look to match.

The second helmet I believe is untouched. It has the look of a helmet found in blue clay IMO, or some other low oxygen environment.
