Fake SS decal right ?

A high end fake, but to thin borders for a P decal as far as I know.

Just curious, is this lid in SS Steel? I weeded thru a bit but could not find. If on an 'aluminum' parade helmet, some of the firms contracted out for their own style of decals that almost always differ from the normal transfers seen. Are there more pix available of the whole helmet?

In the older books there are some fakes.

the reason why is that we still learn, and some fakers are good.
And today whit internet and so on its much more easy.

Its just this type of decal that is in the book. not the helmet.
