It's definitely still out there I found the camo lids as well as the SD all locally the last 18 months either directly from the Vet's families or from sellers that bought the lids to move them on to collectors.

110% Sure that there is plenty of Helmets around. Not only did I find one in the forest two weeks ago, but I regularly ask my friends about their OPA, It turns out most still have bits and bobs. One even had his full LW uniform, helmet, and the K98 tucked in the garage. So I believe that many of the collecting gems are still in family hands....

Amazingly yes they are still out there....... even here in Australia. I was fortunate enough to get this Tobruk & El Alamein veterans bring back only in May this year! Any opportunity to re-show my baby
