Luftschutz helmet NO DECAL

I would like to know more about Luftschutz helmets.
I have see one with No Decal, it has never been there. Is this common?
Or would this mean that the helmet may be repainted? (it doenst look repainted)

It is a late one-piece helmet.

Most late war one-piece Luftschutz helmets never had decals. In fact, decalsed examples of the one-piece models are rare.
