Here is a one-piece with an RLB insignia that the seller describes as "hand painted." It could be that someone has tried to enhance an old decal. Are the one-piece gladiators early or late war? The liner is definitely late war. Opinions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Liner and side view. Looks like the helmet could have been painted the earlier light blue at one time. -
considering the RLB was disbanded and rolled into the luftschutz. So usually only early pattern helmets have RLB insignia and most are overpainted with the luftschutz decal put over the RLB decal. That is a late variant helmet and I cant see it ever having an RLB decal. So I would say its a post war applied decal. The helmet is original m44 type.Comment
