This is the second camo purchased from an American fella at the war and peace show last week. This one is an EF made lid thats had a base tan coat with brushed Green srtipes and then dark brown splotches added, pins are tight, chinstrap has stretched whith combat wear and sweat. This came from the well known American author on Machine guns called Dolf Goldsmith, Devils paintbrush on the maxim is one of his books. Apparently he picked this up in an Amsterdam flee market in 1946, he was so happy he signed his name twice in the liner. Looks like he might have dug out the decal area, but under a good loop it appears to be white paint, im thinking that theres a white camo finish under the multi camo. Anyway folks all comments welcome , regards Pete.
