i would like to have your so welcome opions on this helmet,
it has a rough repaint on the inside think it's org.and underneeth that paint is a name peeking threw....
liner marked 58,shell maker or size i don't know by the rough paint in it.

To be quite honest I dont even know what a real winter camo looks like ! .It looks like the liner doesnt quite fit nice and tight ,but a hands on close up look at the snow camo would be useful ,Rob.

Are those holes at front of liner-would make that a civilian liner-Adam

I swear I saw a non camo helmet on ebay with the same name on the liner. I'll see if I can find it.

I am pretty sure that liner was replaced in the helmet in question (holes on the front - civil.. or post war liner ??) - thats a not a good sign...
overall look is pretty artificial too.. so... - better safe - than sorry - pass on it...

Seriously though, these winter camos are exceedingly hard to judge because there are so many fakes out there. Many of use don't know what the real McCoy looks like. There are a couople good ones over on Daggers.com. Just search for "Medic helmet"

You received no opinions because none here believe the helmet to be real. An item as rare as a winter camo must, with one glance, convince of it's originality. The helmet you show is not convincing.

Winter camos are easy to fake - see below. Made it myself with less than 30 minutes of actual 'hands on'...
