What the market will bare
Good question , I myself paid a little over $100.00 for one a couple of years ago. But i have seen them bring more and i have seen them bring less depending on condition.
They are just another collectable as one should not try to apply them to helmet, because of their age they would most likely destroy them. I have seen them on M-35`s M-40`s M-42` pre war and reissiued M-16`s and M-18`s. I even saw one on the side of Luftschutz beaded helmet, that was a suprise.

As far as i know all of them used that decal at one time or another both pre and war era.I am unsure if their is any way to tell if decal is thin winged or graylined without seperating foil from paper backing. Maybe someone that has that knowledge will respond to your question.Originally posted by mech91Bought this pair on ebay for $125.00. What I was wanting to know is what helmet maker i.e. ET, EF CKL, used this type of decal?
