    I already thought about making it with ACCESS and/or EXCEL, but this seems not to be the real deal...

    Hi Stephan,

    I had the same idea a couple of months ago, I am using File Maker Pro, it is easy to use it displays great, I am just using the basics, the programme is huge and is used in a lot of stores for their inventory.

    Regards

    Steven

        Hello Stephan, this is.....Stephan. I don't have a CD burner on my lap top, and when I try to email whole folders of pictures (say for example my "wire camo helmets" folder with 100 pictures in it) to a computer that can burn them on to a CD it says " " Does anyone know how to e-mail whole folders to another computer so I can create a German helmet CD?

        Maybe I'm looking for the same thing..."collector software".

          I love Access and have been pondering making some sort of collection tracker with it, but I can't get images to embed correctly. Do you have a quick tip on how to do it?

            Hi all,

            I`m very sorry for my delayed answer, but I was very busiey the last time...
            Thanks for all helpful comments. I have the same problem as Chris adding images to ACCESS, that`s why I stated that ACCESS isn`t the real deal. I also work at my job with ACCESS, but I never need to add images to an databank.

            @Stephan:

              hey Stephan, why do you need to Email them? Get a cable, I think the lapop must be able to be cable-connected to a PC. Or don't get a cable, go to a PC centre/PC club, they must have a cable and all needed there.
              OR - get one of those USB memory sticks. Put it on the laptop, store the pics, move to the PC... done.
              or can you attach a digital camera to the laptop? IMHO it can make the same trick as the USB memory. I think it can be recognized as one more disk drive. Simply put pictures in that memory, in that "drive" and take them to the PC you want - connect the camera to the PC. I think the trick must work with MP3 players, too.

                Yea, I've seen those media sticks. Those are cool. You can store a whole PowerPoint presentation on them. The solution was PM'ed to me by another member. Apparently I just have to right-click on the folder I want to mail and select "zip" and mail it that way. (
