Russian SSH36 Luftschutz helmet

here's my russian SSH 36 Luftschutz helmet-in very good condition I think.
Is somebody here with a similar helmet to compare with mine?

I've got 3 czech Luftschutzhelmets and another russian one-a SSH39.But my problem is that nobody else has got something to compare because everybody is collecting combat helmets.

I do collect Luftschutz helmets, have sevral of them, but they are not combat helmets reissued to the LS, they are the classic LS helmets.

Excelent 36

Thats an excelent russian 36 pattern ,with the bonus of it being captured, and pressed in to LS use.I am on the lookout for a relic 36 to complement a 40 russian i have,i think they look great with relic german helmets from the old russian front,James/Ireland.

SSH36 are hard to find here,too-a few month ago one was sold at E-Bay germany for more than 400€.....and I think you will have the same problem with a SSH 40.Acouple of years ago I had really luck to find a SSH 39 at a flea market here for very small money- it was also a Luftschutz helmet in good condition.Czech ones are not so difficult to find,I'm waiting for number 3 this week

Very nice helmets, and nice to see another collector interested in LS helmets. I will post images this weekend of some that I have run across over the years.
